My journey in the spray tan industry began back in 2014, driven by my love for sunless tans and the need for a flexible career that would fit my busy life as a wife and mother. After a melanoma scare and being fair-skinned, traditional tanning was off the table for me, leading me to discover and fall in love with spray tanning.
What started as a part-time mobile spray tan business quickly grew. I went from renting space in other salons to owning my very own brick-and-mortar business. Today, I have an amazing team of eight talented women working with me, my very own sunless product line, and the Bronzologist Academy training and certification program.
Over the years, I've had the incredible honor of spray tanning some local celebrities like Kellie Rasberry from Kiss FM, Mrs. America 2021, and members of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. One of my greatest accomplishments in my career so far was spray tanning Lainey Wilson for the ACMs in 2023 & 2024.
n 2020, when the world shut down due to COVID, I used my free time to develop a training program I had envisioned for years. I compiled all my knowledge and skills from years of trial and error, learning from mistakes, and extensive experience. My goal was to create a training that would have been exactly what I needed back when I started spraying in 2014.
Since founding Bronzologist Academy, I have successfully trained over 70 amazing women in hands-on, in-person courses at my salon.
